30 Dec 2011
At the school right now.. Sitting next to the quiet swimming pool waiting for colleagues to arrive for the staff meeting scheduled today.
Feel boring and reminiscing my childhood memories after watching a Youtube video which shows the games and hobbies of a 1980s child. .
Next year will be quite hectic for me. I have no choice but to teach Form 2. Form 5 and IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary School). Not only I need to deliver lessons on English language subject but also Moral Education.
I am wondering why the school put such a decision. Not to say I do not have moral values to teach the students but it is a dry subject. Memorizing all the moral values and applied it in the given situation. And the best part of it? All the questions are in subjective format.. Means I have more things to mark and less time to do my thesis. Great~ I mean OMG.
The time now is 9.19am.. My colleagues are not here yet.. Feel that my eyes are quite dry now.. Might be sleepy.. Woke up at 6.49am today.. After 40 days of school break, I felt so lazy to get my ass of my comfy bed this morning. Have to follow my bf's car although the staff meeting is scheduled at 10am..
I think i should stop talking nonsense here. First time reporting on blog using present tense as previously I updated my blog after weeks. Haha. I guess this is the new year spirit!

Closing the chapter of Dec2011
Today is 28th dec 2011. 3 more days to bid farewell to 2011 and look ahead of year 2012. With a blink of an eye, December has passed quite fast. Without realizing my thesis is progressing slowly due to the various outings my bf and I had.
To sum up Dec, i would describe this month as a shopping and eating month. First, our friend had housewarming few weeks ago and he ordered 13 pizzas and we ate until we were fed up with pizza. No more pizzas! Then the day after, on Dec 18 my bf and i went to the Zende Pacific Hotel in Kuala Lumpur for buffet dim sum.
I wore a new dress and I ate too full until I had to unbuckle the belt of my dress. Later we went to the Putra World Trade Centre for the food expo. Didn't buy much. Just bought a pack of Daddy instant noodle.
Some of the Christmas decoration in shopping malls. I love the underwater world christmas decoration in 1 Utama. Looks stunning!
Asked my boyfriend to make a few actions to try out the burst mode of my camera. Crazy acts!
Posing with their long-awaited bicycles =P

We went to Taman Botani at Shah Alam for cycling again. Waited the bicycle for more than 1 hour. We brought some bread thinking to eat it when we were hungry there. But at last we fed the wild monkeys with it. It was terrifying as the bread attracted more and more monkeys to come to us. They looked like they wanted to attack us..

Holga or Diana Mini Camera
I am having a hard time to make decision on whether to buy a Holga or Diana Mini camera. Or should I not buy since I have one DSLR now..
Read a lot of comments and browse lots of blogs on pictures produced by both camera. They have their pros and cons..
Diana mini is quite tough for a beginner to handle while holga is mostly designed for beginners who want to have their fun time with a toy camera. Both camera use 35mm film and therefore it is quite easy to get it develop.
I personally prefer Holga 135bc (*bc stands for black corners) because it is cheaper and easy to use. It does not require any batteries unless you're using a flash. I think I am going for the Holga 135BC after reading several blogs which give good comments of it.
You might want to have a look at the blog. Beware you might be attracted to have one Holga for yourself!

If you can't control your temptation over Holga, you can purchase it here. Free delivery worldwide.

Starbucks
10th Dec 2011
Today my bf worked until 3pm and right after he finished his work, he had to drive me to Stage Hair Boutique, Kota Damansara for my hair appointment at 4.30pm..
Reached there and was told to come back after 5pm because there were so many customers and insufficient hair stylists..
We went to a nearby Starbucks and had a cup of Frappucino.
It was raining so heavily outside. 5pm sharp i went back to the saloon and i was so glad that i was given a seat, at last!
But, unexpected things happened. I sat there until 7pm for my turn. WTH!
Then 1 of the hair stylists asked me to do hair spa treatment and scalp treatment. Their usual trick of getting customer to pay for more.. I bought the coupon for Rm75 for perming with cut, wash and blow only. So, no choice since they said if I wanted to see a better result, I have to do it..

Okay, Rm118 gone.. The saloon was so tricky that they didn't even cut my hair as stated in the coupon. Gave me a very bad first impression. I won't return to this saloon anymore.
Random X'mas trees
Santa Claus is coming to town~ X'mas trees are everywhere. Beautifully decorated and captured the attention of all passers by. Too bad we don't have a snowman (I mean the real 1) in M'sia..

3rd FLL postgrad conference
Prepared 2 days in advance for this conference. Actually, i was forced by my supervisor to do this. Was told to share my experience as a novice researcher in discovering research methods.. Practiced day and night just for this. The scripts even appeared in my dreams.. OMG.. Really wish it to be over..
The conference was held for 2 days at the faculty of languages and linguistics. There were also other presenters from other universities.
Opening ceremony
My goodies bag of a file, notebook and pen only.
Asked a presenter from UPM to help me photograph this
There was lunch buffet provided for free
The most important is this! A certificate. Haha

Day 4 in Phnom Penh
Last day in Phnom Penh.. Aww.. I'm gonna miss this place so much.. Especially the food here and the silk scarves.. I should buy more.. ="(
Anyway, these are the pictures of our last day in the capital.
This time, we managed to grab a seat outside the cafe.
Went to the Central Market for the 2nd time. Bought more clothes here. But the price in Russian market was cheaper.
Had an early lunch at the ChiangMai Riverside.
Coconut drink to quench our thirst..
Cheers!
Marinated pork ribs and fried kueyteow with beef. Yummy!
Too much time before check out. Eat again..
We went to the Blue Pumpkin and I ordered Yoghurt with fresh fruits US$2.50
Hot mocha.
A ferry at Tonle Sap river
Tuk tuk to the airport
Spotted an overloaded tuk tuk on the way to airport.
Another 1 here. They do not need a lorry to carry goods here
At a bookstore in the terminal.
Had a cup of hot chocolate and 2 slices of carrot cakes. US$9
Not sure why he looked sad here.. Or..was he acting cool? No one knows.. Haha
