The train journey

They ramble through the country-side,
Dear gentle monsters, and we ride
Pleasantly seated—so we sink
Into a torpor on the brink
Of thought, or read our books, and understand
Half them and half the backward-gliding land:
(Trees in a dance all twirling round;
Large rivers flowing with no sound;
The scattered images of town and field,
Shining flowers half concealed.)
And, having settled to and equal rate,
They swing the curve and straighten to the straight,
Curtail their stride and gather up their joints,
Snort, dwindle their steam for the noisy points,
Leap them in safety, and, the other side,
Loop again to and even stride.

A poem written by:

Memorable phrases in a poem hits your mind, memorable adventure strikes your heart forever! I have an urge to share this post after I came across some websites about luxury train express to beautiful places tucked in somewhere in our world, awaiting for someone to discover and explore it..

Some history about rail transport I found  from http://www.snowdonrailway.co.uk/history.php

Locomotive number eight, Eryri, is the Welsh name for Snowdonia. It was also removed from service and dismantled in the 1980’s.

The black and white picture proves that the train exists for a long time ago and solely as a form of transportation. However, luxury train is a trend for young people to travel. Luxury trains can be found anywhere in the world, bringing you to a whole new world. Something that you can't get from taking a flight. I came across some websites introducing some trains that offer luxurious and comfortable journey. This is what we called a breathtaking journey; The European trains, UK trains, South East Asia trains, and South African train...
Words cannot decribe how beautiful this view is..
An innocent child looking out of the train
A clock at the train station.. How I wish the time could stop for this moment~

 Bids farewell to loved ones

Or come along with your loved ones to spend momentuos time together in the train!

Three nights in KL with mixed feelings...

The title of this post tells you everything basically.. I was at KL from last Sunday (10/4/2011) until today (12/4/2011). What I am doing there? Haha.. The bf's mum, aunts and uncles and grandparents came to KL from Hong Kong. We overnight there and chatted the nights away though it was tiring especially after waiting for the slow like snail bus, crowded and packed like sardin train and a 10 minutes walk to the hotel.. I was repeating this routine for three days and spent a lot of $ on transportation..

The best thing I liked for these 3 days was the night I spent in the hotel. Spacious and feel like home too. It's better than our home for two reasons, mosquitoes free and sleep in air-conditioned room! Haha..

Last night, we had a late dinner at Sushi King in KLCC after driving all over KL to find something to eat. . The sushi king's promotion of Rm2 a plate is back!

We didnt grab sushi like we did before in Jaya One because it was quite late at that time. Less customers but with more choices! Haha.  Plenty of choices except the scallop.. We really miss the fried scallop..

In the end, we ate a total of 9 plates of sushi only because we were too full..After our dinner, we walked back to our hotel. We had a stroll at the KLCC park. Took some pictures. Blurry pictures take with my phone. (Adjusted the colours and contrast but make no difference...)

Just 2 of us. =) Simple yet sweet. >0<

A day in Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC)

31/3/2011- Spent my last day for this month in PWTC.

The Perfect Living Exhibition 2011 was organized in PWTC and I was there to help out and get extra pocket money. =P

I reached PWTC abput 8.50pm and my first impression 'bout PWTC  was a bit dissapointed as the building looks old compared to KLCC exhibition hall. This is how the PWTC looks like

I think we reached there the earliest because there were not many exhibitors around. Without wasting much time, I started by arranging the things and decorating the wall of the booth using our wallartis stickers.

One by one our part timers arrived and my supervisor briefed them on how and what to do later..

I took this opportunity to 'snake' out. Hehehe.. I went out for a simple breakfast of meehoon with fried egg and hotdog at a mamak corner restaurant.

Finished my breakfast with a glass of iced milo.. Yummy.. Perfect breakfast oh.

I took about 20 minutes only to finish my breakfast. Rushed back to the exhibition hall for the washroom. Haha. When I returned, i took a picture of our combined booth.. Looks spacious compared to the KLCC hall.

After decorating the booth, I captured some pictures of my art work. The bamboo and two silly pandas!

More snapshots!

Our wallsticker stocks were placed underneath our counter.

There were not many visitors that day. Maybe because it was a working day.. Once in a while, visitors passed by and looked at the wallstickers. But they were not interested to take out their wallet to buy~

Nothing to do.. Basically, the other part timers and I spent most of our time enjoying our lunch in a plastic container.. Sponsored by our company.. Rm6 lunch box looks like this

The lunch box contains black beans with chicken (too oily~), half a piece of friend chicken ham and also some cauliflowers soaked in oil... The taste was normal but too oily for us.. There's no need for us to reapply our lip balm..... =(

Took some time off and wandered around.. The picture above shows the covered bridge to Hall 2 and 3..

Heard from my colleagues that there's a shopping mall nearby PWTC. Didnt get to go coz not sure of how to go.. Googled and found the picture of The Mall just now.

Acc to them, there's not much shops in The Mall. Only dining outlets.. Therefore, I don't really regret for not visiting (*comforting myself) Hehe..

Time passes slowly because of nothing to do.. At last 9pm... Closed and went home after! earned a sore feet due to long hours of wearing high heels...

Received friend's call after shower.. Need to go out again for a drink at mamak nearby.. So tiring..
What a day!
