Birthday

I, MY dear, was born to-day--
So all my jolly comrades say:
They bring me music, wreaths, and mirth,
And ask to celebrate my birth:
Little, alas! my comrades know
That I was born to pain and woe;
To thy denial, to thy scorn,
Better I had ne'er been born:
I wish to die, even whilst I say--
'I, my dear, was born to-day.'
I, my dear, was born to-day:
Shall I salute the rising ray,
Well-spring of all my joy and woe?
Clotilda, thou alone dost know.
Shall the wreath surround my hair?
Or shall the music please my ear?
Shall I my comrades' mirth receive,
And bless my birth, and wish to live?
Then let me see great Venus chase
Imperious anger from thy face;
Then let me hear thee smiling say--
'Thou, my dear, wert born to-day.'

Strolling at Curve (3rd July 11)

It was Sunday! The last day of happiness in a week.. Oh no~.. My bf and I went out to help my cousin to look for the particular house to let.. My cousin is planning to find a job and live here.. He found a room to let at caribilik.com and I had to help him to view the room as he is still at hometown.. My bf and I walked around to search for the house and at last we managed to find it but the house is a bit run down and the room itself looks spooky. Haha..

After searching up and down for the house, we walked home, had shower and ate our brunch together with friends at Tappers, Jaya One. 8 of us ordered set lunch which comes with a drink. I had nasi gulai ayam and a drink named Goo Leng Ping..
The nasi gulai ayam was so spicy that I almost cried while eating it.. Surrendered and passed it to my bf.. Hehe..

We decided to go The Curve for karaoke this time.. But Redbox charge higher rates during weekends.

We didnt sing karaoke at last. We strolled around at the mall and had our teatime at Pappa Rich. We ordered Pappa Rich ABC Chendol, Rm5.90. After tax, Rm6.50.. Costly if compared to roadside stalls =P

Went to PJ Old Town for dinner. We had bak kut teh and this time we tried another 1. Instead of Meng Kee, we went to Heng Kee Bak Kut Teh Restaurant. It was few blocks away from Meng Kee. We reached there about 8pm and it was so packed with customers! The aroma of bak kut teh entered my nostrils and my stomach started to growl... We ordered braised mushrooms too. and the taste was far too good to compare with Meng Kee..
Will visit this place again! XOXO

Mid Valley & TheCurve:Transformers (2nd July 11)

A wonderful weekend spent with friends. We had chit chats, laughter and shared good food together. Really an enjoyable moment with all of them.

Started with Saturday morning, we went to Mid Valley to change Singapore dollar. The currency is so high now, 2.455.. Emptied my $$$ in back just for a holiday of 4 days 3 nights in Singapore next week.

Then, we had our brunch at Sushi King. We were the first customers! Haha.. No rewards but my bf and I were so happy that they only charged us for a bowl of Oyaki Don instead of 2. =P

At night, we watched Transformers 3: Dark of The Moon at Cineleisure @e-Curve~ The cinema was so packed woth movie-watchers, probably 95% of them are Transformers Fans.. Had so much difficulties to buy tickets due to limited seats.
 We managed to buy 4 tickets for Transformers but the movie started at 12am... oh no~... We watched until 3am in the morning.. The movie was less impactful compared to the previous 2.. In this movie, I couldn't feel the oomph when the Optimus Prime and his gang came to rescue.. Bumblebee and Sam Witchwicky did not interact much in this movie..

Overall, it was a good movie to watch with friends and loved ones during the weekend.
