Are you a narcissist?

I hate this type of people the most. This type of people tend to degrade someone to make others think they are smart, good, and more superior. I encountered someone who I think is a narcissist.

After working for so long, I miscalculated something that is easy. This person laughed at me. Is it funny? Do you have the rights to laugh at someone who made a mistake?

I think even a 3 year old boy will only do that. You are a matured person and yet you did something like this. Educated and a professional. What a shame.

I found out that this person fits the criteria as a narcissist. From the Wikipedia, you need to fulfill all these criteria to be a narcissist. This is a checklist for you.

Thomas suggests that narcissists typically display most, sometimes all, of the following traits:[5]
An obvious self-focus in interpersonal exchanges
Problems in sustaining satisfying relationships
A lack of psychological awareness (see insight in psychology and psychiatry, egosyntonic)
Difficulty with empathy
Problems distinguishing the self from others (see narcissism and boundaries)
Hypersensitivity to any insults or imagined insults (see criticism and narcissists, narcissistic rage and narcissistic injury)
Vulnerability to shame rather than guilt
Haughty body language
Flattery towards people who admire and affirm them (narcissistic supply)
Detesting those who do not admire them (narcissistic abuse)
Using other people without considering the cost of doing so
Pretending to be more important than they really are
Bragging (subtly but persistently) and exaggerating their achievements
Claiming to be an "expert" at many things
Inability to view the world from the perspective of other people
Denial of remorse and gratitude

Life at school

What a tiring week... It has been a busy week for me and the other teachers here because of the World Education Games that our school too part. On Wednesday I had to stay back until 7.30pm just because I had to monitor students in playing the games.. The worst part was there were only two students at that time...👫

The official result for World Spelling Day was released at 6pm.. The best thing that happened that day was the fact that our school garnered the world cup for this event. Felt proud with it and immediately congratulated my students for their winning in VLE.

Today, Friday is the last day for all the World Education Games. Yet I have to stay back until 7pm for the results to be released. Luckily the first semester holidays start tomorrow.

I have not much classes today; only two periods yet I feel tired and I am mentally exhausted. I don't know why..

Valentine's Day Photos

My Valentine's Day with my boyfriend at the Zest Cafe, The Sphere.

At first we planned to go to a nearby restaurant for western meal but the restaurant was fully reserved so we had to go to somewhere else. We went to this restaurant called The Zest Cafe at The Sphere. The ambiance was perfect with candlelight on each of the dining table and not forget to mention that there was a guy who played the piano.

Time No Enough

Singapore-based movie "Money no enough" is a comedy film about the rising cost of life among Singaporeans. It is true to some extent.. However for my case I should rephrase it to "Time no enough"

We only have 24 hours a day and this includes working for 8 hours a day(sometimes more than that), sleeping, eating, socializing and procrastinating for most of the day...

Hectic class schedule really leaves me with no room to breathe... I remember I used to chit-chat with my colleagues at the cafeteria last year. But now.. it is totally different. I dont even have time to drink water and go to the washroom.. Can you imagine that?

The school really knows how to occupy the teacher's time. For the past three weeks, I had to wake up early to take an hour school bus to Sepang and Cheras for annual swimming gala, sports day and sports rehearsal.. Don't have time to relax my nerves..

Phew~ I am looking forward for a week school holiday that is coming soon. But I don think I have much time to relax as well because I need to rush for my dissertation.

Hope I can really go through all these.
