30th and 31st October 2010. These two days were my happiest and tiring days in October. We shifted to a new place named Happy Apartment where we rented the highest unit in the block. It is difficult to describe the feeling of moving house. It is a combination of excited and exhausted, I guess.. =P
The whole process started on saturday morning until sunday night. We had to set alarm to woke up early in the morning to start shifting our things to our new home. We helped each other with the cleaning, arranging and carrying furniture up to 3rd floor. So tiring!
By 7.40pm, we almost finished with the cleaning. We had to arrange the furniture and unpack things from the big brown boxes tomorrow because we were so hungry at that time. We drove the borrowed van to Subang to eat bak kut teh there. There were many shops selling bak kut teh and it was hard for us to decide which shop has the best 1. In the end, we chose a cornered shop which is fully-packed with customers. We bet it was the best bak kut teh around we had a try there.
The bak kut teh was tasteless and is quite pricey too.. All of us wondered how did the shop attract so many customers to eat there? It somehow left us clueless...
After dinner, we went to Carrefour; which is nearby Subang and had a walk around. We saw a Pakistan guy selling nice and cheap carpets when we entered the shopping mall. We wanted to have one of the carpets but made a wrong decision again... We thought Carrefour has better deal so we did not buy it. But we were wrong, Carrefour's carpets do not have good quality and they are pricey too.
When we went downstairs, the Pakistan stall was closed. We couldn't buy the carpet... So regret.. Then, we drove to The Curve to fond carpet.. Funny right? It was about 10pm and we still wanted to find a carpet. haha. i enjoyed sitting in the car and captured some of the night views around Subang..

the fun begins with T Shirts!
Recently, i bought four casual but good-looking t-shirts at tropicana shopping mall. Some of the outlets were having mega sale. So, i just went inside to see around if I can lay my hands on some of the clothes. I spotted a two nice t-shirts in Nichii. It is Rm30 for its usual price, but after 70% discount. It just costs me around RM 9 for 1 piece. Great deal rite?
Then another 2 t-shirts were bought at a stall stationed outside of the outlet. The clothes are made in Bangladesh. They have nice cotton t-shirts and super affordable. Just RM 5 per piece. Gonna pair all these t-shirts with my mini jeans skirt and maybe I can pair them with my long skinny jeans.
There are so many designs of t shirts when I google it. Here are some of the t shirts. Really nice.
Some of the celebrities are seen wearing t-shirts with style

First time working as a promoter 2
The day has come. My boyfriend and I woke up early at 8am even though my working hour started at 12pm. The shifting of transportation from bus to LRT and to bus again really left us with no choice but woke up early.
We reached the shopping mall too early, 10.15am. Had another 1 hour plus to kill. We took our breakfast at Ikea. Ordered 2 hotdog buns, 1 curry puff and a cup of hot coffee to start our day.
I started my work by searching for the ice cream samples(which I had to promote later on) int he freezer room. My god. It was so cold. I couldn't stand the coldness because you will have difficulty in breathing and your fingers will feel numb after awhile.
Luckily, right before I started my work, the agent introduced me to another promoter, Angeline. She helped me a lot. Searching for the samples. Finally, we found 1 box of ice cream but only 1 flavour.
I had to wear uniform and I looked like the Dutch Lady.. If you have no idea what I looked like, below is a picture.
I scooped a lot of ice cream to be given to cute kids. Haha. Some of them ran back to em a few times to ask for different flavour tasting. At that time, I was a little bit regret because I had to use all my energy to scoop the ice cream because it was hard(just take out from the freezer). Furthermore, I used a sampling spoon to scoop.. So difficult.
When I went home that night, I was really tired. My arms and legs were aching pain.
Anyway, I just had to suffer two days for this tiring job. I was kinda lazy, I admit that. Lazy to find jobs and complaint a lot when I have a job..
What a life...
First time working as a promoter
It was 2nd of July 2010 when I was contacted by an agent and immediately asked me to start working the next day. First time working as a promoter in Tesco, Damansara Mutiara. . I do not have a black slack and a white collar t-shirt. These really whirl me into madness. I had to go and buy it no mater what.
That night, my boyfriend went home late because of overtime working in his office. We took a taxi to Tropicana Mall, and when we reached there it was already 9pm.
Another 1 hour before the shops closed. We had to be fast. I walked really fast and tried on every formal pants and white shirts I found. At last found 1 black slack but couldn't buy a white shirt. It was either cheap in quality or better quality with unreasonable price.
Then, another thing that troubles us was dinner. The same problem over and over again when we were at shopping mall. We wanted something that is full and worthy.
At last, we walked into the Taiwanese Street Snack and went on ordering right after we were seated.
The meal came and all of us were disappointed. Small portion and it was different than what is illustrated on the menu. Feel we were cheated at that point of time...
The taste was okay but the small portion of food made us really disappointed..

My Langkawi Story Part 5
Later in that afternoon, after learning how to swim in our hotel. We headed to Oriental Village for the cable-car ride. The journey took us 30 minutes to drive from Pantai Tengah.
When we reached our destination, we were so worried that it will rain because the obvious signs of raining. Gloomy sky and strong wind made us rushed to the ticket counter as fast as possible.
We bought tickets for the cable car ride. It costs is RM15 per person for a Malaysian. Non-Malaysian need to pay RM30.
There was no need to queue and we jumped into our cable car.
The first 2 minutes was okay.. After that, I was freaking out because the cable car ride up to the viewing platform was so high!
The fact that the cable car brought us away from the ground was very terrifying! It was 652.5 meters above the sea level. So scary.
When we reached the first platform, we felt like we did not want to board the cable car back to the station.
Things get scarier when all the cable cars stopped suddenly and emergency alarm went off when we were at the first platform. OMG!!
After using the standing-binoculars to view the part of Langkawi and snapping few pictures here and there, we hurried off to the second and also last platform. The second platform led us to the sky bridge.
When we alighted from the cable car, we started to walk down the wooden stairs to reach the bridge. A big warning sky can be seen when we were on our way. This really gets on our nerves. .
Finally, after a short walk down the mountain, we reached the sky bridge.
We were shocked of the height that we were standing at.. Our legs were trembling and our hands were cold at that time.
Some passers-by laughed at us when we were motionless at the bridge.. A mother walking with her two twin daughters also gave us a sinister smile... my god..
We had to move on.. We pretended that we were not scared and walked until the end of the sky bridge. What a terrifying experience.. Strong wind almost blew us away and we had to hold on tightly to the bars along the bridge..
After taking a few pictures, we ran back to the platform to continue our journey to the Mount Mat Cincang.
Just walked up few flight of stairs, we were on top of the mount Mat Cincang. We were so fortunate to see a tornado in the middle of the sea.
We thought that the tornado will hit the cable car so we scurried off to take the cable car back to the station.
It was a wonderful and terrifying experience as well..
When we reached the station, we were very hungry because we did not filled ourselves up with any food since the morning buffet breakfast at hotel.
However, I tried to take as many pictures as possible before leaving. I went to the Mini Zoo in the Oriental Village. No signs of rabbits as claimed by local bloggers.
There were only less than 5 deers relaxing under a shady tree.
When my boyfriend was helping me to take picture, the person in charge asked us to buy the food for the deers before taking picture. We pretended that we were Hong Kong tourists who do not understand malay language. Haha.
Then we stopped at the various bridges at Oriental Village. There was a Red Bridge, Flags Bridge and many more.
Rain started to pour down after snapping a few pictures. It didn't stopped us from exploring Oriental Village.
We bought some Langkawi t-shirts for RM4 per piece. Quite cheap.
Then we drove all the way back to Pantai Chenang to have dinner there. We couldn't make up our mind whether to eat western meal or chinese cuisines.
At last, we decided to dine in at the Rasa Restaurant along the Pantai Chenang shoplots.
We chose this place as they offer various choice of meals.
I ordered Fish and Fillet, one of the old time favorites. It came in a big portion with french fries and a small slice of lemon to be squeezed onto the fish fillet. It was Rm12 only.
My boyfriend ordered the Marinara Spaghetti and it came with big fresh prawns, chunks of fish, clams, and mussels. This 1 was RM15.
Then we ordered dessert, Double Trouble for both of us. Nice name and nice taste too. =)
The environment of Rasa Restaurant was very nice and we had our dinner open air, together with other forign tourists. We felt like we were foreign tourists too. Haha.
We drove back to hotel for rest after all the activities that we had. We bought some beers at the Gecko Mini Market, right in front of our hotel. We bought Carlsberg and some dried cuttlefish.
What a nice combination when you drink and eat cuttlefish!
Tomorrow was our last day in Langkawi and we were looking forward for swimming lessons tomorrow morning =)
The next morning it was raining cats and dogs. We couldn't go to swim as what we planned. So disappointing.. We played cards for a while until 10am. Then, we went to the Coco Valley to buy duty free chocolates and beers before we back KL.
Next, we drove all the way to Kuah, the heart of Langkawi to buy the ferry ticket to Kuala Perlis and decided to visit the Lang Square which we didn't go on the first day because of the KTM train delay that spoiled our plan.
When we stopped by to buy the ferry ticket, we were so nervous when the next ferry ride is 12.30pm and the next ferry was at 3.30pm. No way we can buy the 3.30pm ferry because we bought our bus ticket back to KL at 2.30pm.
No choice. I bought the 12.30pm ferry ticket while they returned back the car at the shop. We settled all the things in just a mere 20 minutes time. Lucky us.
But...We did not have sufficient time to visit Eagle Square. I think all of us were very disappointed because we had to rushed back and couldn't take pictures of the big eagle statue that signifies we were at Langkawi.
However, luck still with us. When we were on the way to board the ferry, I saw the eagle statue.. Far far away. I had to zoom in to capture a nice piece of it.
The ferry that we took was smaller and it was packed with passengers.
We had to put our luggage on our lap for 1 hour before we alighted at Kuala Perlis pier. When we arrived, we ate KFC again because there was no other restaurants nearby.. REally sick of KFC already.
The day we arrived at Langkawi also KFC. And I can tell you that there are many KFC in Langkawi. For those of you who like to eat KFC, don't worry. You can eat plenty of them when you are there! =P
The bus from Kuala Perlis to Kuala Lumpur took 12 hours again.. No difference with KTM train ride.. The bus had to stop at all the small towns in Kedah to pick up 1-2 passengers..
When the clock strikes 8pm, we were still in the bus and in one of the small towns in Kedah.. We couldn't wait to jump out from the bus already.. 8.50 pm, we reached Penang and stopped for 30 minutes for dinner. After dinner, we had to bear for another 4 hours ride to KL. We couldn't slept soundly..
Finally, my boyfriend woke me up when he saw Masjid Jamek, his working place. We reached KL!!! The bus stopped at Pudu and we took a taxi back home.. Reached home around 2am.. Unpacked things and took a quick shower before I dozed off into LA LA LAND...
-END of my long journey to the north (not journey to the west) =P

My Langkawi Story Part 4
Our next stop was at Pulau Singa Besar to see eagle feeding. This was the worst stop for the Island Hopping Package..
It was very boring. All of us just sat in the speed boat and viewed eagles soaring high in the sky..
We found it difficult to take pictures of the eagles. We just stopped at this island for eagle watching (not eagle feeding) for 15 minutes.
Then, off we were to the Beras Basah Island.
The sea water was crystal clear and we could see small fishes swimming to us when we soaked ourselves in the water!
The water was cooling and we found ourselves enjoying till the last minute before we went back to our speed boat.
Too bad that our camera is not water-proof. If not, I will take pictures of the small fishes. =p
Anyway, this is the last stop of our Island Hopping tour.I found that the Lake of Pregnant Maiden and Beras Basah Island are the most worth-visiting places.

My Langkawi Story Part 3
It was our first morning in Langkawi. We started our day by having buffet breakfast at the hotel before our morning plan of Island Hopping.
The hotel served average breakfast like noodles, hotdogs, fruits, cornflakes, milk, and fruit juice. We ate a lot so that we can skip lunch later. Haha
We were at the jetty, waiting for the arrival of our speed boat to bring us to three islands; Dayang Bunting Island, Singa Besar Island and the Beras Basah Island.
Journey started!
First stop at the Lake of Pregnant Maiden or better known as Tasik Dayang Bunting.
Free catfish massage. The fishes were really big. Btter think twice before you put your leg in!
At first, there was a Malay couple trying out the fish massage. Then after we joined in, many people flocked by and tried it too!
Another close up of the big catfish! Ignore the big toe in the picture. I have no idea whose toe is that. Haha
There were lots of monkey that habituated in this island.
This was one mischievous monkey that tried to grab my friend's backpack. When we realized, we stared at him. And you know what he did. He looked innocently at us while playing with its feet. =.=
Our boat came and brought us to the next stop, which is the fish farm somewhere nearby the Lake of Pregnant Maiden.
We felt like we were cheated because the boat driver asked us to pay extra RM10 to go to the fish farm. We did not want to pay but he threaten us that he is not sure if he will be coming back to fetch us or not if we are not going.
No choice. We had to go. When we arrived, we were very angry and disappointed with the fish farm. It was still under construction and we could only viewed bot not more than 10 types of fish there!
