Although it's a Saturday, we woke up at 6.30am for our adventurous hiking day.. Friend picked us up at 7.10am and we made our way to the wet morning market at SS2.
Went there to buy some delicious rice dumpling/ba chang. Next monday is the dragon boats festival where the Chinese celebrated it by eating rice dumpling.
We walked around and couldn't decide which stalls to buy it. At last, we chose a stall that sells different types of rice dumpling. Each one costs about Rm3.. Did not buy much as we worry it is not tasty..
After that we continued to find the Gasing Hill or better known as Bukit Gasing. Located 10 minutes away from our staying place.
Don't know what's wrong with me coz I forgot to bring the mosquito repellant balm, drinking water and most importantly is the Google map to our destination.. Printed it out yesterday but forgot to bring.. At last, we ended up at the wrong place.. =.=
We managed to ask some passers-by for the exact location..
Arrived at our destination!
The air is really refreshing in the morning. It makes you feel energetic and full of confidence to start the day.
Clear blue sky
We found the suspension bridge but it was broken.. Need to walk the alternative way. By holding tight to ropes and some branches along the way down..
After the tiring hiking, we decided to have our breakfast at a mamak restaurant called Raju. Located along Jalan Chantek 5/13, nearby the Gasing Hill..
We ordered some roti kosong, a plate of mutton curry, chicken rendang, bananas and some drinks to cool us down.
Enjoyed our breakfast and chit-chat about our financial problem (as usual). .
When we paid for the food, we were shocked because it costs us Rm34 for 3 person.. Expensive to eat at mamak nowadays..
Had a short walkget our car and we received another shocking incident, "Summon"...Summon for illegal parking.. Rm100 gone.. Heart-ache for my friend.. What a costly breakfast to start the day!
