Port Dickson Trip 2 (Lover's Bridge and Dead Island)

After the first beach, we went to the second beach. This beach is famous for its Lover's Bridge and Dead Island.

My two local friends told me that the Lover's Bridge led to the Dead Island.  How does the island get its name? It happened many years ago that many people died in the island there because they couldn't pull put their legs out from the mangrove tree's roots when the sea water rise. This was the first time i heard such an interesting story from locals even though this was the second time I went to Port Dickson.

We were taking pictures at the Lover's Bridge before stepping into the deadly mangrove swamp.

Did you see the roots of the mangrove tree? What do you think will happen to you if your leg is trapped within these roots when the sea water is rising fast?

I was trying to save my boyfriend before we were drown by the sea water!!

Luckily, we were able to leave the Dead Island safely..
