July's story posted in the month of August.. Hmm.. I should really think of a way to update my blog regularly. Anyway, to make the long story short, my friends and I went to Singapore for 4 days 3 nights. We had so much fun and sore legs, too! after walking for the whole day..
The first day in Singapore is chaotic. The queue at the airport immigration was long and there was no entertainment at all during our waiting time. Not even a TV to cure our boredom.. My boyfriend and I lined up for about 40 minutes and yes! It's our turn for the officer to check our passports and stamp on it. But, we were so damned.. The officer told us to complete a form first before queuing. OMG!
What to do.. We had to run and get the forms. Filled it quickly and back to the queue again!
..... =.=........
After that, we took the MRT to Chinatown and checked in to our hostel, the BearyNice Hostel. It was a good place to stay with friends. Bunk beds and shared bathroom.. the conventional hostel except that it is cleaner and nicer with the teddy bears all around the living room! I just love that!
Our first night in the city started by having a quick walk to the Orchard Road for dinner, taking pictures at the Esplanade, the Merlion park and then had our supper at Lau Pa Sat, a renowned food market. We had dim sums and it was sumptuous. I had a feeling that the food in Singapore tasted so good compared to Malaysia..
On the second day, we went to Universal Studio. We had more fun there! Wish to go there again.. I love the Madagascar performance and the roller coaster at the Egypt theme park.
Then, on the third day we went to the Zoo in the morning. We took MRT then bus to the zoo. Convenient. The transportation in this city is made for the people' s convenience.. I don't get to use my sun block at all because we don't have to walk under the sun from a place to another. There are underground tunnel for pedestrians to cross to the opposite road. We strolled at the zoo until late afternoon before proceeding to the Chinese and Japanese Temple. That night, we had our dinner at the Chinatown street. I ordered fried kuey teow and ABC. Not cheap to eat by the roadside..
Th fourth day marks our last day in the fabulous city. We had dim sum at a restaurant below our hostel. It was lacking in taste. Then, we walked to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. And again, it's our nearby our hostel too. We bought some souvenirs on the fourth floor of the temple. After, we checked out and walked to People's Park Complex before going to the Bugis street. From there, my bf and I took the MRT to Changi Airport. . Goodbye Singapore!
P/s: Pictures will be uploaded in the next post.. See ya@
