Anyway, these are the pictures of our last day in the capital.

This time, we managed to grab a seat outside the cafe.

Went to the Central Market for the 2nd time. Bought more clothes here. But the price in Russian market was cheaper.

Had an early lunch at the ChiangMai Riverside.

Coconut drink to quench our thirst..

Cheers!

Marinated pork ribs and fried kueyteow with beef. Yummy!

Too much time before check out. Eat again..

We went to the Blue Pumpkin and I ordered Yoghurt with fresh fruits US$2.50

Hot mocha.

A ferry at Tonle Sap river

Tuk tuk to the airport

Spotted an overloaded tuk tuk on the way to airport.

Another 1 here. They do not need a lorry to carry goods here

At a bookstore in the terminal.

Had a cup of hot chocolate and 2 slices of carrot cakes. US$9

Not sure why he looked sad here.. Or..was he acting cool? No one knows.. Haha

* End of our Cambodia trip!

Day 3 in Phnom Penh

Entering our third day in Phnom Penh. Saw an interesting picture while having breakfast at the cafe.

After breakfast, we took a tuk tuk to theTuol Sleng Museum where executors imprisoned victims before they were transported to the Killing Fields.

The entrance fee was US$2.

Horrible scenes in each of the room. Blood stain was still visible on the floor.

There were so many photographs of all the victims during the Khmer rouge.

They were starved and tortured to death.

One of the seven survivors. He was explaining how he was brought here and tried to picture the scene to us.

More pictures of how the victims were treated.

Even children are not an exception from this gruesome murder..

Barbed wires were put around the school to prevent them from escaping..

The cells were still intact on the second floor. Dark and chilly atmosphere in here.

Counting the numbers of prisoners in each room.

Next, we went to the Russian Market.

We bought silk scarves and t-shirts from this stall. This guy was the seller and he was very friendly and gave us real  good price. ;)

Arrived at Ta Phrom. Admission fee: US$1

This temple was built in 1373 to house four Buddha statues.

At the main entrance.

Crazy pose. Haha

Lunch at A Viva la Mexico.

Happy hour by the time we reached there. Anchor beer for 50 cents only. Beef tacos US$1. Nice 1.

My beef satay marinated with special Khmer sauces.

Our hauls from the Russian Market. Spent most of our money here. Feel regret now, I should buy more.. the shirts and blouses were affordable here.

Dinner at the riverfront again. We did not want to dine here but the workers here helped us to cross the busy road in front. Felt not good to not dine here..

Strawberry shake and seafood noodles.

Amok fish in coconut shell. This 1 is lack in flavours.. The 1st meal in Phnom Penh that we criticized.

But they were good enough to give us complimentary desserts.

Nice view at the riverfront.

Last night in Phnom Penh..

End of part 3. To be continued..
