The next morning, we went to a famous place 澳洲牛奶公司 for breakfast |
A look into the 'cha chaan teng' or coffee house. The waiters are all males! |
We ordered the Breakfast Set of toasted white bread with scrambled or sunny side up eggs, macaroni soup with ham slices and hot/cold milk tea. |
The fresh milk |
We bought one after breakfast |
The hand statue along Nathan road |
At the 1881 Heritage |
A visit to 1881 Heritage will transport you to Victorian-era Hong Kong. From the 1880s to 1996, this was the headquarters of the Hong Kong Marine Police. Several buildings and artefacts of historical interest have been preserved and restored, and the site now features a shopping mall, a heritage hotel, and an exhibition hall. To get there: MTR Wong Tai Sin Station Exit B2, walk for about three minutes. |
We want our wish to come true |
Crowded with tourists as well as locals |
Had our lunch at a nearby Cafe' de Coral or better known as Dai Ka Lok |
Spent our last night in HK looking at the magnificent night view at Avenue of Stars |
Our dinner at Cafe' de Coral again. Haha. Good food with reasonable price |
Then we took the Star Ferry across Victoria harbour, between HK island and Kowloon. It has been rated first in the "Top 10 Most Exciting Ferry Rides" poll by the Society if American Travel Writers in Feb 2009. All on board! Hurray~ |
We took a step back in time by boarding one of the city's historic trams. This double-decker tram has been operating for more than 100 years since 1904! The ride costs us a flat fare of $2.30. |
Grabbed a seat next to a window at the upper-deck |
Ended our HK trip and proceeded to Macau the next day |
