Hong Kong & Shenzhen June 2012 - Part 2

From East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, we took East Rail Line to Lo Wu, which is on the Hong Kong/Chinese border.
The journey to Lo Wu takes just under an hour, after which you can expect 30mins to 40mins of border formalities before entering Shenzhen. A single ticket costs HK$36.50

Took a lot of brochures once we reached Hong Kong

Our first stop in Hong Kong

We stayed here at the Chungking Mansion during our trip in Hong Kong. Cheap but somehow, our room was flooded in the morning.. No signs of water dripping from the air-cond or bathroom.. Spooky..

The red cab symbolises Hong Kong

Had our lunch at the Dai Ka Lok, just next to where we stayed

After lunch, we walked to the first attraction "Madame Tussauds" and The Peak. Waited the tram to bring us up

 He's mine =)

Next, we went to Victoria Peak Hong Kong. It was located at the same place as Madame Tussauds. So finding the location is not a problem.

We love Hong Kong!

Nightscape of Hong Kong.. So beautiful~

Came down from The Peak

Back to the city and took a picture with bright LED lights of the architecture in Chung Wan.

We were tired yet not willing to return to our hostel. Instead we went to Walk of Stars

Victoria Harbour

Had supper in one of the traditional shops that we passed by
Dumplings or we called it "Wan Ton". Compared it to the ones that we have back in Malaysia, this one is a big one!

The place we had the delicious supper

The next morning, we woke up early to Disneyland!Bought the tickets from a kiosk along the Avenue of Stars

We were there just in time to see the partial lunar eclipse and rare transit of Venus. Once in a hundred years. Really a rare phenomenon and we happened to be there. This is luck..  Read more at this link

Next, we hit the Philhar Magic where Mickey performed his magic tricks!

The last attraction that we went to was the Buzz Lightyear ride.

Our new car.

Anticipating for the fireworks
 Here it comes!
 So beautiful..

 I feel like I'm in a dreamland..

We were tired and starving by the end of the day but it was indeed a magical night for all of us.

We went for dinner at about 11pm.. Should call it a supper instead..

Even though the food in Hong Kong are pricey, but they really worth the price. Great taste and big portion.

The streets in the busy city

Hui Lau Shan for desserts.

After desserts, we saw a street performance there. It was late but locals were still around.

Queued for ice-cream
